Hospitality and Allied Services

According to Key Note, the UK catering market is valued at approximately £32 billion.  It is made up of restaurants, fast food and takeaways, contract catering and foodservice management, hotels, public houses, licensed clubs and holiday camps/villages and caravan/camping sites - and there's still room to grow.

Still, the industry is facing a challenging situation.  Increased legislation and rising costs have added pressure on top of lower consumer spending.  This has made for tough competition in the sector, and greater emphasis will be on service and quality to build a loyal customer base.
