Health and Social Care

The UK healthcare market can be separated between: public healthcare (the NHS), private healthcare (and private medical insurance) and other healthcare services, covering complementary and alternative medicine [CAM] and palliative and hospice care.

The industry is under intense scrutiny by the government and immense pressure by the public to improve service delivery.  Facing rising costs of care, staff shortages, bed blocking, the rationalisation of service provision, rising problems of antibiotic-resistant infection, an ageing population and the problems in long-term care funding and provision, the challenge is complex and requires better customer relationship management from service providers.
