Business and Financial Services

The accountancy sector is a vital part of the UK economy and it plays an important role in the financial services industry.

Still, service quality widely differs among accountancy firms and there is a clear lack of customer focus hindering growth in the sector.  This is in spite of the fact that the recession has generated a cost-saving culture creating ample opportunity for accountancy firms to increase new business.

However, success later will depend on action now and firms who tackle their ageing workforce and skills shortage are in a stronger position long-term.
