Future Skills Needs

The Warrington Business School is leading the way by launching an in-depth future skills needs study, asking employers across the region to identify where skills gaps may lie in the coming years.

The aim of the project is to ensure that the school remains at the forefront of helping businesses to accelerate performance by helping to identify and develop the key skills of their employees.

A think-tank has been created encompassing leaders in industry, the Government and the Third sector, all of whom will be working it partnership with the school on the study and offering a holistic view about the future direction of work-based learning.

In addition to in depth interviews with key partners, a survey has been created to help find out in more detail what you feel are the skills needs of the next generation.

To find out more or to make your voice heard by completing the survey email futureskills@fidopr.co.uk to register your interest.

After the research has been completed, the school will be working in partnership with its think-tank members to respond to the study’s findings. Thereby putting their professional knowledge at the centre of the school’s agenda and developing courses around their specific needs.
