Apprenticeship Week 6-10 February 2012
The Warrington Business School will be supporting
Apprenticeship Week with a variety of activities taking place including PR activity and promotional stands at main reception. Councillor Terry O'Neill will also be visiting the college to meet apprentices and employers, seeing for himself the benefits of apprenticeship programmes. There will also be an Apprenticeship Recruitment Day organised during Apprenticeship Week:

Apprenticeships are taking the lead on workforce development, and for good reason.
The training programme is employer-led. Recognised for results and quality service, it gives employers the greatest input in training, and participants gain the practical skills and experience no other qualification can offer.
The Warrington Business School specialises in Apprenticeships and serves an average of 250 employers a year. It has seen almost 1,000 apprentices successfully complete the program and has a reputation for delivering results.
Notably, several apprentices have been recognised for excellence with prestigious national awards from the Learning and Skills Council.
In 2009, new Government initiatives to recruit adult apprentices and to take on more young people have transformed the training program, and created more opportunities for employers to upskill their workforce and lead in their market.

The Warrington Business School will help you find suitable Apprentices for your specific sector. If you require an Apprentice please complete the Employer Request Form and return to The Warrington Business School.
The internationally recognised programme now offers the following routes:
- Apprenticeships: This programme leads to a National Vocational Qualification at Level 2.
- Advanced Apprenticeships: Takes at least two years to complete. This programme leads to a National Vocational Qualification at Level 3, relevant key skills qualifications and a technical certificate.
