Apprenticeships are taking the lead on workforce development, and for good reason.
The training programme is employer-led. Recognised for results and quality service, it gives employers the greatest input in training, and participants gain the practical skills and experience no other qualification can offer.
The Warrington Business School specialises in Apprenticeships and serves an average of 250 employers a year. It has seen almost 1,000 apprentices successfully complete the program and has a reputation for delivering results.
Notably, several apprentices have been recognised for excellence with prestigious national awards from the Learning and Skills Council.
In 2009, new Government initiatives to recruit adult apprentices and to take on more young people have transformed the training program, and created more opportunities for employers to upskill their workforce and lead in their market.
