CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing

Is the course for me?

This qualification is aimed at Marketers with operational, supervisory or management responsibilites including account managers, product/brand managers and business development managers. For further details, please refer to the CIM website, www.cim.co.uk.

The course is very flexible, studied over 18 months one night a week, Wednesday 6-9pm. You can transfer from another centre to complete modules.We also offer 1-1 tutorial support. Course cost is £495 per module, we honour the module price if you continue your study. If you defer your study, then you will have to pay the new current course fee price. We do enrolments per module, you can pay for these in installments.

What will I learn?

By the end of this qualification you should be able to evaluate the role of the marketing planing process and implementation in a range of marketing contexts including organisational strategy, culture and the broader marketing environment. Develop and manage a brand and product portfolio. Recommend how a marketing function should be structured to deliver competitive advantage. Identify the organisation's information needs, scope of research support marketing projects.

What are the entry requirements?

For entry requirements please contact Learner Services on 01925 494400.The CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing or any business or marketing degree where a minimum of one third of credits come from marketing. Experience in a marketing managment role is desirable. This is level 6 qualification.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed across the four modules using a blend of two methods: Unit 1 – Marketing Planning Process:Assignment Unit 2 – Deliverying Customer Value through Marketing: Examination. Unit 3 – Managing Marketing: Assignment. Unit 4 – Project Management in Marketing: Assignment. To take this qualification you need to be a studying member.
