What will I learn?

Mandatory Core Units together with Carpentry and Joinery site work including; Install first fix components, Install second fix components, Structural carcassing. Additional areas of study include Health and Safety.

What are the entry requirements?

A minimum of 4 GCSEs (D or above) including English or successful completion of a Level 1 course with Functional Skills Maths and English).Applicants who do not meet these entry requirements will be assessed on an individual basis by the Curriculum Manager and Curriculum Director.

How will I be assessed?

All the necessary knowledge will be covered for you to become a skilled crafts person. Your progress shall be continually assessed and you are given instant feedback, ensuring that your skills are developing.
