If you have already achieved an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing and are interested in gaining a higher level of qualification then this is the course for you. This bespoke course can be tailor made to meet your learning needs and can be completed within 12 months.
This NVQ Level 3 programme includes: Functional skills and Employment Rights and Responsibilities. You will study a range of mandatory units which include: * Monitor Procedures to Safely Control Work Operations * Promoting Additional Services or Products to Customers * Provide hairdressing consultation services Creatively Cut Hair Using a Combination of Techniques You will also study a number of optional units, some of which are listed below:- Provide Creative Hair Extension Services Develop and Enhance your Creative Hairdressing Skills. Creatively Dress Long Hair. Provide Colour Correction Services. Colour hair using a vareity of techniques, Contibute to the Financial Effectiveness of the Business Contribute to the Planning and Implementation of Promotional Activities *Support Customer Service Improvements
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (C or above), including Maths and English (or Adult Literacy and Numeracy Level 2 or successful completion of a Level 2 course with Functional Skills Maths and English).Applicants who do not meet these entry requirements will be assessed on an individual basis by the Curriculum Manager and Curriculum Director.You do not need to apply for this course online or complete an application form. Your NVQ assessment will be continuous throughout the programme and will consist of a combination of practical assessments, oral and written question and answer sessions, project work and portfolio building. Assessments will be undertaken within the workplace and within the college's working environments.
